The Maven repositories for SymmetricDS are mirrored to the Maven central repositories, so there should be no setup in order to reference and use the libraries in your project.
Releases are done once for each version, which makes them generally available for use in production.
Snapshots of development code are available to developers who want to help test the latest features and bug fixes before they are released.
Deploying to the Repo
Using the "deploy" goal for Maven will deploy a snapshot or release build to the Maven repository on Codehaus. After you have been granted access to deploy, update your Maven settings.xml with your credentials:
<servers> <server> <id>dav.codehaus.org</id> <username>user</username> <password>secret</password> </server> <servers>
If you get PKIX certificate errors when deploying, you need to update your JDK with the Start-SSL certificates used by Codehaus. See the article on Installing the Start-SSL CA for Codehaus.
keytool -import -alias StartSSL-CA -file startssl-CA.pem -keystore $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts keytool -import -alias StartSSL-Intermediate -file startssl-Intermediate.pem -keystore $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts
