Here are some ways a developer can get involved with SymmetricDS:

Write Code

Look in the Issue Tracker for open issues that you can help with. Or enter a new issue to submit a new feature, a bug fix, or an improvement. If this is your first time contributing, make sure you sign and submit the Contributor License Agreement, which is quick and easy to do.

Integrate Your Application

Embed our replication library into your application for complete control and seamless execution. Read the sections in the User Guide on Embedded Deployment and Extensions to learn how to embed and extend our software.

Discuss Development

Join us on the Developer Forum to discuss the future direction of the project and find help navigating the code. Let's work together to enhance the software, improve the code, and make it developer-friendly.

Publish Articles

Written mainly in Java, the SymmetricDS source code is hosted at Github.
