Summary | 0000167: Support OID-based BLOB on PostgreSQL | ||||
Description | On PostgreSQL, a binary large object (BLOB) can be stored using two different types: bytea and oid. SymmetricDS currently supports the byte array (bytea) column type, but it does not work with object ID (oid) columns. When using oid columns, a long integer is stored, which is used to look up the BLOB in the pg_largeobject table.
