| Description | SymmetricDS loads all *.properties files from the engines directory as individual engines. (E.g. C:\SymmetricDS-Pro\engines). Sometimes users want to make a backup of their engine.properties file, and end up with something like "Copy of engine.properties" - not realizing that this second *.properties file will get loaded as a second copy of the engine. We should detect situations where local properties file share the same external id, or database URL, and halt SymmetricDS startup with clear logging in that case. | ||||
