Summary | 0001422: Support the ability to sync triggers without querying all of the tables' metadata.
Description | There should be a method to call sync triggers and only synchronize triggers that have been modified. When syncing triggers, it would not be necessary to query the table meta data to check for schema changes. This should significantly increase the speed of the Sync Trigger process.

I believe it works this way today, where a change to sym_trigger causes sync triggers to run for just that entry. When the sync triggers job is run on the schedule, it still inspects all sym_trigger configuration and table metadata. Maybe we should not run that job on startup any more, since it was a historical way to sync triggers before it could detect individual trigger changes? Should we update this issue? |
