| Description | Change parameter treat.binary.as.lob.enabled to false by default, so binary types will be treated as such. A change without an issue attached was made in 3.8 to the AbstractDatabasePlatform.isLob() to include the BINARY type, perhaps to add support for that type. The change caused an issue when using BINARY in the primary key and enabling stream LOB. In 0002232, the treat.binary.as.lob.enabled parameter was added to workaround the issue. Later, in 0004413, it properly fixed using BINARY types in the primary key. Now, we should default treat.binary.as.lob.enabled to false, and its use should be deprecated until it is eventually removed. | ||||
